Boris finishes on top at Lake View Vets match

Despite the appalling weather there was a good attendance for Saturday’s Lake View Vets match - which proved to be a close competition.

Fishing peg 20 on Stream, Boris Kilner caught consistently through the match on maggot and his 38lbs 10ozs just gave him an overall win.

Second on the lake was Tom Hamilton on peg 17 with 35lbs 4ozs, just 3ozs ahead of Martin Quilter on peg 3.

On River, Rob Shuter (peg 14) came away with a lake win but was just 10 ozs behind Boris, having 38lbs exactly.

Graham Statham was second on the lake with 32lbs from peg 17 and Steve Bechkhurst had a section win from peg 1 with just 21lbs.

Simon Skelton qualified for the FishOMania final at Lake View Fishery last Wednesday.
