Centre manager Victoria Conyers said: “We support over 70 families a week. The additional funds that the Rotary club have kindly gifted us will make such a difference to what we can offer our children and families this year.

“The donation will enable us to offer the children additional activities such as professional music sessions and visiting a farm park. We will also be able to give additional support for families over Easter and summer when the centre would normally be closed.

“The money will also allow us to ‘bring the outside in’ buying seasonal fruits, flowers and vegetables so children can discover and wonder at the world in which they live.

“A huge thank you to the Rotary club from all at the Oasis Family Centre.”
