Busy February scheduled for Melton Mowbray Ramblers
Members of Melton Mowbray Ramblers have another busy month of rural walks scheduled.
They are out at Scalford tomorrow (Wednesday), meeting at the village hall at 9.30am for a five-mile ramble.
On Saturday, the group heads for Rearsby for an 8.5-mile walk. Meet at the old footbridge on Brookside (Nearest postcode LE7 4YB - it is possible to park along that stretch of Brookside) at 9.30am.
Somerby is the destination on Saturday February 14 (8.5 miles). Members should meet outside the Somerby Memorial Hall (LE14 2PZ – next to the pub) at 9.30am.
Next up, on Saturday February 21, the ramble is over nine miles at Cold Overton. Meet outside St John the Baptist Church at 9am.
On Wednesday February 25, the group heads to Ab Kettleby (five miles), meeting outside St James’ Church at 10am.
The month is rounded off on Saturday February 28 at Tilton on the Hill (eight miles), meet at St Peter’s Church at 9.30am.
