Vale of Belvoir Darts League: Cricketers set up all-Bottesford semi

A trio of Bottesford teams made it through to the semi-finals of the Vale of Belvoir Darts League Team Singles Cup after some tight quarter-final contests last Friday.

Bottesford Cricket Club travelled to Waltham and beat Royal Horse Shoes by the odd leg in nine to set up a semi-final showdown with Bull Inn A who dispatched Woolsthorpe Social Club A by five legs to three.

Bottesford Bowls Club will also appear in the last four after they edged out high-flying King’s Arms, Scalford, 5-4.

They will tee off against Rose and Crown, Hose, who eased through 6-2 at home to Woolsthorpe Social Club B.

Both semi-finals will be played on Friday, May 6.
