Rose and Crown, Hose land league and cup double
The Rose and Crown, Hose, completed a superb season in the Vale of Belvoir Darts League by landing the Team Singles Cup on Friday.
They lined up against Bottesford’s Bull Inn A in the final which was played at the Kings Arms, in Scalford.
The Rose won by five games to two, but team captain Andy Haines admitted the match was much closer than the scoreline suggested with both sides being on a finish in most of the games.
The cup success completed a league and cup double for the Hose pub team who lost two games in becoming league champions.
