Late goals deny Holwell Sports U18s all three points

THE first league match away from home on a difficult playing surface resulted in a draw, but Holwell could have returned with all three points.
After a steady start from both sides, Holwell opened the scoring through Curtis Channing after good work by Tom Mahan down the wing.

Hide AdThe visitors added a second goal just before half-time through a well-taken header from Jordan Wilson.
The second half saw a much tougher contest and Ibstock were awarded a penalty which reduced the arrears, but Holwell regained their two-goal advantage when Josh Gallagher headed in from a corner.
The last 20 minutes saw Holwell under constant pressure and two late goals, one from another penalty, meant the game ended all-square.
