Festive fun for youngsters
Melton Mowbray Tennis Club’s junior section finished their pre-Christmas groups on Saturday with sessions full of fun and games.
Despite having their Winter sessions interrupted due to Covid-19 the club’s youngsters have all responded positively and were in no mood to let the pandemic spoil their fun, head coach Di Burdett and club coach Ryan Parmar running the sessions for the 40-plus youngsters, with assistance from intermediates Abbi Hickling and Liam Morrison.
The club now await to see when senior and junior Winter League matches can resume. The county have revised all matches that were cancelled during the November lockdown, but whilst everyone is keen to play, there is a fear that the Ccountry could go into lockdown again.
