Big Brother is coming back to our screens with 20th anniversary special - here's when it's on
Running from 2000 to 2018, Big Brother was arguably the first and most famous reality TV show to grace our screens, and now it’s back for a 20th anniversary special.
Here’s what you need to know - and where you can watch it.
What was Big Brother about?
The show followed housemates who were isolated from the outside world for a number of weeks, eliminating them one at a time with the last one standing being the winner of a cash prize.

Hide AdIt ran on Channel Four from 2000 until 2010 and then it moved over to Channel Five from 2011 to 2018.
Big Brother had various spin-offs, including Celebrity Big Brother, Teen Big Brother, Ultimate Big Brother, Big Brother's Big Mouth, Big Brother’s Little Brother and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
While the show has been off the air for the past few years, fans will get the chance to relive some of the best moments with a 20th anniversary special coming up in June.
What will the 20th anniversary special involve?
Channel Four announced that Big Brother icons Davina McCall and Rylan Clark-Neal would be hosting Big Brother: Best Shows Ever Show as a celebration of the programme’s 20th anniversary.

Hide AdDavina and Rylan will get to pick their favourite moments and episodes from the entire run of the show.
Karl Warner, Controller of E4, said: “Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the greatest episodes of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother will be playing on E4.
“For some it might be the first time they’ve seen the shows, for others a chance to relive some properly iconic TV. We can’t wait to see which moments Davina and Rylan pick.”
Why are Davina McCall and Rylan Clark-Neal presenting?
Davina McCall was synonymous with Big Brother from when it began airing on Channel 4 in 2000 until 2010, when the show moved to Channel Five.

Hide AdMcCall said: “I love the show with all of my heart and can’t wait to share it with a whole new audience.
“And of course, all you diehard fans out there… It’s good to be back. Big Brother’s missed you.”
Rylan Clark-Neal won the 2013 series of Celebrity Big Brother following his rise to fame on The X Factor.
Speaking about how excited he was to be bringing Big Brother back into the public eye again after it being off the air for two years, Clark-Neal said: “Over the years Big Brother has brought groundbreaking television moments for many reasons, but now so more than ever whilst we’re all playing the role of housemates, let’s go back and rewind the clock to some of our favourite ever episodes.”
When can I watch Big Brother: Best Shows Ever Show?
The special will kick off on Sunday 14 June at 9pm on Channel Four.
There will be ten episodes in total, with each episode also airing at 9pm.
