Nine-year-old Bethany rocks new hair cut after charity chop

Bethany Haynes, who attends Frisby Primary School, had her hair cut at at Melton’s Jago’s Hair Design and Beauty Centre, on Saturday.
She also raised more than £270 for the Little Princess Trust, a national charity which provides real hair wigs for youngsters who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Hide AdDad Jon Haynes, who supported Bethany on the day, said: “Beth had 16 inches taken off. Michaela, her hairdresser was really nice and allowed the family to cut off a plat of hair each.

“She would like to thank everybody who has donated money and is thinking about growing and donating her hair again in a few years time.”
Beth had set her sights on raising at least £350 - the amount it costs to make each wig. Her online fundraising page online is open until May 30 for extra donations.
