The Vale Medical Group announced last month that it plans to close The Woolsthorpe Surgery, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The organisation, which also operates Long Clawson Medical Practice and The Stackyard Surgery in Croxton Kerrial, is holding online Q&A sessions about the plans on Monday at 7.30pm, and Wednesday at 2.30pm.

Dr Philip Rathbone, of the Vale Medical Group said: “Having already heard from a number of patients, we hope more will take the opportunity via the online events to tell us what they think about our proposals.”

There is also a proposal to move the Stackyard Surgery from Lincolnshire CCG, into East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG.

The consultation runs until the end of this month.
