ScrewFix donates £1000 to local CIC
Sunny Space CIC thanks Screwfix Foundation for £1,000 Grant.

Sunny Space CIC is delighted to announce that it has received a £1,000 grant from the Screwfix Foundation to support the continued development of its outdoor paddock for adults with learning disabilities, autism and Down syndrome.
The grant will help fund improvements to the paddock, which has become an important space for wellbeing, learning and community. The site provides opportunities for the people we support to take part in gardening, conservation, horticulture and practical outdoor activities while enjoying the benefits of nature in a safe and inclusive environment.

Over the past few months, significant progress has been made, including improvements to site safety, maintenance and accessibility. However, there is still plenty to do, from creating accessible pathways and improving storage to expanding gardening areas and developing spaces that can be enjoyed by everyone who attends.
The £1,000 donation from the Screwfix Foundation will make a real difference by helping us purchase a path that will make the paddock accessible to those with mobility difficulties.
Everyone at Sunny Space CIC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Screwfix Foundation for believing in our project and helping us bring our vision to life.
We also want to thank our volunteers, supporters and local community, whose continued encouragement and hard work are helping turn an overgrown field into a thriving space where people can learn new skills, improve their wellbeing and enjoy spending time outdoors.
As the project continues, we look forward to sharing further updates and welcoming more members of the local community to see the progress being made.
