McCue The Music was founded by local resident Andrea McCue with a simple vision: to create high-quality music events that not only bring people together but also give something back to the community.

Its flagship event, Soulshine All-Dayer, takes place on Saturday 12th September at The Harboro Hotel, featuring internationally respected producer Sean McCabe, award-winning vocalist Natasha Watts and a line-up of respected DJs from across the UK.

Soulshine is supporting Dementia UK, with 10% of ticket sales and 100% of proceeds from the event raffle being donated to the charity. Several of the resident DJs are also donating their time, having been personally affected by dementia within their own families, helping to maximise the amount raised.

Alongside the charity fundraising, McCue The Music is committed to supporting the local economy by working with businesses throughout Melton Mowbray. Local companies have already begun supporting the event through discounted services, raffle prizes and community partnerships, with organisers hoping many more will join them in the coming weeks.

Andrea McCue said: "Music has an incredible ability to bring people together and create memories that last a lifetime. Soulshine isn't just about putting on a great event; it's about supporting our local community, showcasing local businesses and raising as much as possible for Dementia UK. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us so far and hope even more businesses will join us on the journey."

The organisers are continuing to invite local businesses to get involved through sponsorship, advertising opportunities and raffle prize donations while helping to raise funds for Dementia UK.
