Tickets available for Melton Rotary Club's annual Ceilidh fundraiser
Members of the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray are holding one of their biggest annual fundraisers on Saturday – the annual Ceilidh.
The event is at Twinlakes Theme Park, a partner of the Rotary Club, at 7.30pm, with proceeds going to support the club’s projects for disadvantaged children in Melton and surrounding areas.
Among the beneficiaries will be ‘Coats for kids’ for Melton pupils in need, a Children’s Fun Day annual day out offered to schools and The Venue Youth Club.
It will also pay for places on Rotary’s youth leadership programme and The Calvert Activity Centre week away (for young disabled adults), as well as contributing to the worldwide Polio vaccination programme, among many other projects.
Tickets cost £13 for adults, £6.50 for children and under fives get in free – you can buy them by calling 01664 567777, emailing [email protected] or from Twinlakes Theme Park.
Potential new members can go to www.meltonrotary.org.uk or follow Melton Mowbray Rotary Club on Facebook.
