Seaside social sees Stoke Rochford second in Skeg
On a warm but windy day, the Stoke Rochford Golf Club Mixed Team visited one of the most popular courses on the match calendar, Seacroft.
And on this occasion the hosts won 5-3 by the sea at Skegness.
In the past, the event has always been a tremendously social occasion, and this year proved no different.
The course provided the usual links challenges, but the after match food made up for some disappointing scores.
Dorne and Don Werner lost 1down, Cate and Steve Cullington lost 3&2, Jane Selby and Brian White won 2up, Phillippa & Chris Smith lost 5&4, Mags and Jim McArthur won 2&1, Norma and Philip Varley, lost 4&3, Sue Taylor and David Hamilton lost 4&3 and Carol Hamilton and Ken Taylor won 5&4.
