The IBC took control from the start and led by 23 shots after just five ends. The Bowlers tried hard to get into the match, holding the gap to 24 shots at the close and picking up points for a rink win.

In the other match, Belvoir Vale BC were too strong for Syston BC, building an eight-shot lead at the halfway mark and steadily increasing that advantage. Syston gained a draw on one rink to deny their opponents maximum points.
