Stoke Rochford Golf Club: Dolby holds commanding series lead
Stoke Rochford Golf Club seniors played a Texas scramble as the penultimate round of their Winte Warmers series.
A total of 28 players made it to the course for what was a wet day, but the course played well despite the conditions.
Last week’s winners, with a fantastic score of nett 63.2, were John Booth, Brian White and Eddie Plant.

Hide AdIn second place, with nett 65.5, were Phil White, Brian Ayto and sleeping partner, and in third place, on countback, were Darrell Knight, Alan Dolby and sleeping partner with nett 65.6.
With one week of the winter series remaining, and an uncertain few months ahead, the overall leader with 55 points is Alan Dolby.
Greg Ewart remains in second place with 44 points.
The lead for the Slack Goblet is held jointly by Colin Howett, David Hamilton and Reg Hughes, each with 14 single points.
