George Thomson is a Wembley winner... yet again.

The Melton Mowbray-born footballer was part of the Harrogate Town squad which won the 2019-20 FA Trophy final at the world-famous stadium on Monday.

Josh Falkingham scored the only goal of the late late on as Town beat National League South Concord Rangers, midfielder Thomson playing the full game.

The contest should have been played last season, but was put back due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thomson is currently enjoying a successful season in League Two with Harrogate, who conclude their debut season in the Football League at Cheltenham on Saturday.

The venue is becoming like a second home for Thomson, who scored the opening goal as Town beat Notts County at Wembley in August to secure promotion from the National League.
