Tony Thorpe’s side travel to promotion hopefuls Buckingham Town who sit fourth in the Division One table, and just six points behind leaders Daventry.

Town have been on a good run since the turn of the year with three wins and just one defeat in their last five league matches.

But with all of those wins coming against teams in the bottom four, Thorpe and co-manager Steve Hendey will expect a big step-up on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

They will also have to guard against any rustiness as a result of only five matches in two months following two postponements and a blank weekend.

Buckingham inflicted Town’s heaviest defeat of the season in November with a 7-0 rout at Melton, and the visitors will be eager for revenge.

To do this they will have to somehow quieten the league’s leading scorer Leon Lobjoit who has 56 goals this season, including four in the reverse fixture.
