There were not many clear opportunities for either Asfordby or Leicester in a competitive and entertaining goalless draw.
Asfordby produced some good play from Ella W, Sophie V, Sophie T and the industrious Millie G who caused Leicester many problems with her attacking play and her never-say-die attitude on the right.
The player of the day award went to Asfordby’s Lauren F for her great defensive work.
