Linford Harris was judged to have been fouled inside the box and Brandon Hands stepped up to give Asfordby the lead from the spot.

Harris was then put in goal when keeper Barrett-Clark was sent to the sin bin.

Cottesmore had a good opportunity from a free kick which went just over the bar before Adam Lauchlan doubled Asfordby’s lead with a shot that evaded the keeper.

Cottesmore then had a good shot well saved by Barrett-Clark just before half time.

Hands got his second of the day with a cross come shot which nestled in the bottom corner of the net.

Cottesmore got a penalty which was cooly put away before Hands exploited some space at the back, laying the ball into the path of Harris for his second of the match.

Tom Atherley curled in a beautiful shot from the edge of the box for seven and Danny Hullet chased a lost cause to cross the ball for Asfordby’s eighth goal of the day off the Cottesmore defender.
