Leicestershire County Cricket Club chairman welcomes ECB plans to make cricket for representative
The three-step plan includes: creating a new independent commission for equality, a new forum for race in cricket and a new Equality Code of Conduct.
As part of its commitment to strengthen links with the wider community and spearhead diversity and inclusion in cricket at every level both on and off the pitch, Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is proudly displaying flags of nationalities.

Hide AdThe flags displayed on the fencing off Miligan Road are from 39 different nationalities representing citizens living in Leicestershire.
Mark Barber, head of community for LCCC said: “We continue to collaborate with all diverse communities as part of our strategy to make cricket more accessible to all and a game for everyone.
“We’re at the heart of an extremely diverse community in Leicestershire and Rutland and we’re proud to celebrate this.”
Mehmooda Duke (MBE DL) is the first ever female chair in the history of UK County Cricket and said: “I am really proud that we are already at the forefront of this journey to make cricket more accessible to all.”
