Striking flower arrangements at Great Dalby give colour to methodist church
'The Floral Year' was the title of a flower festival which brought crowds flocking to Great Dalby Methodist Church over the last August bank holiday weekend.
The event raised £1,000 and featured striking arrangements for each month of the year from members of Melton Mowbray Flower Club.
Elsewhere in the vilage St Swithuns Church showcased a historical exhibiton and the village hall staged a produce and craft show.

Hide AdBob Hobbs of the Great Dalby Garden Group said: “We hold a produce and craft show every two years. This year’s was very successful and featured alot of new families who entered.
“We managed to raise £276 for the village defibrillator fund.”
