Good turnout to Melton's 2016 Fatstock Show
Dozens of entries were put in by farmers and food producers, all keen to take home a coveted prize.
The top prize of £400, for the Brownlow Challenge Cup Champion Beast In Show, went to C & G Davies and was presented by Matthew O’Callaghan and Mayor of Melton David Wright.

There were also individual awards for Champion Sheep and Pigs.
An impressive quality of entries went forward for the pork pie classes. Food classes were held in the Exhibition Hall, where judges also looked at entries for floral art.
Chairman Harry Baines said: “We were delighted with the number of entries this year which made another successful show thanks to the hard work from all involved and our sponsors.
