Long Clawson woman convicted of assaulting a man

A 41-year-old Long Clawson woman has appeared in court on a charge of assaulting a man.

Kate Willet, of The Sands, denied the offence but was convicted by magistrates sitting at Loughborough.

She was given a conditional discharge for 18 months, ordered to pay a £21 surcharge to fund victim services and £150 in court costs.

No compensation order was made against Willet following the conviction.
