Running until September 18, the sessions are aimed at giving parents and carers the support they need to aid their child’s development through simple and engaging activities.

Sessions can be booked now – they include messy play, language support workshops and sensory fun.

Tim Browne, assistant director for education, inclusion and additional needs at Leicestershire County Council, said: “These sessions are a great way to interact with your children in a fun, but inspiring environment too.

“Each year Baby Fortnight is a huge success. We hope this year to inspire more families to get involved and take advantage of these brilliant free sessions.”
