Morris dancers to hold open evening for potential new members in Vale of Belvoir

New members of all ages are being welcomed by a Morris dancing group based in the Vale of Belvoir.

New Saint George Morris, which meets at Hose village hall, has been performing at community events throughout the area for around 20 years dressed in their distinctive red waistcoats, white shirts and trousers.

They are holding an open evening on Wednesday September 16, from 8pm to 10pm to give anyone interested to get involved and have a go at it.

All are welcome to go along although under 18s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult on the night.

The group is mixed and inclusive and provides enjoyable exercise in a friendly environment.

As well as public performances in many local villages some members of the team have also been involved in teaching dances at Beavers and Cub meetings, and at some schools in the Vale of Belvoir.

Email [email protected] for further information or go along to the open evening.
