Family activities day to be held in the Vale of Belvoir
Families are invited to attend an annual event in the Vale of Belvoir packed full of games, sport and countryside activities.
The fun takes place on Sunday August 16 at Belvoir Cricket Ground at Knipton, from 10am to 2pm.
Belvoir Education & Sports Trust (BEST) is organising the event, which will include opportunities to get involved in archery, bowls, kwik cricket, orienteering, tri-golf, badminton, basketball, table tennis and more.
There will also be a visit from Scooby, who is a stunning Harris’s hawk, CPR demonstrations and tours of the BEST charity’s new community, sports and education hub, which is due to open this autumn.
A bar will be open and entry price includes a free burger or hot dog from the barbecue.
Admission on the gate is £5 for adults, £3 for children and £14 for families - under fives get in free.
