Tickets on sale for Melton Choral Society's Christmas concert

This year’s Christmas concert from the Melton Mowbray Choral Society will be held at St Mary’s Church on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Led as always by conductor and musical director, James Gutteridge, the choir has worked hard to put together a programme combining the timeless Handel’s Messiah Part One and the Hallelujah Chorus, followed by a selection of favourite Christmas carols.

The concert is set to provide what is billed as ‘a wonderful celebration of Christmas with beautiful and uplifting music to capture the spirit of the festive season’.

All are welcome to go along a popular annual festive celebration of music in the town’s iconic church.

Tickets are still on sale and are priced at £10 and youngsters aged 16 and under get in for free.

You can buy tickets in advance by going online at www.stagestubs.com/melton-mowbray-choral-society/handels-messiah or alternatively at The Centre @ Mary’s Place on Burton Street in Melton.

Attendees can also enjoy the concert by buying tickets on the door.
