When the tiger Shere Khan (Elba) decrees that humans are no longer welcome in the jungle, human boy Mowgli sets off with Bagheera the panther (Kingsley) and Baloo the bear (Murray) to find a new home. Saturday at 1pm, 3.30pm and 6pm, Sunday at 5pm and Tuesday at 2pm.

Midnight Special (12A)

Roy is wanted for the abduction of his own eight-year-old son. A local religious cult believe the boy to be some kind of saviour – but is he really something else entirely? A smart take on the sci-fi genre. Tuesday at 7.30pm and Thursday at 6pm.

The Brand New Testament (15)

In this wondrously and hilariously surreal film, God is alive and grumpy, using an ancient computer to inflict malevolence on the world he created. His daughter decides to hack into his database and set course for a happier ending by adding six new apostles to the New Testament’s original 12, all with sunnier dispositions. This film is French with English subtitles. Monday at 6pm and Wednesday at 8.30pm.
