Brown hat-trick extends Asfordby unbeaten run
Sarah Brown was back to her best with a hat-trick, and her first goal came after a perfect through ball from Charli Mellors.
However, the visitors got back into the game when the Asfordby defence switched off, and then took the lead, scoring both of their only first-half chances.

Asfordby dominated the second half, and created more chances and shots on target than in any other game this season.
When Bedworth did push forward, the defence dealt easily with the danger, and the midfield and forwards found themselves with time and space to play some good football, in spite of the heavy pitch, with Mellors, Brown and Sarah Anderson linking well.
Emily Morrison and Alisha De’ath-Eccles worked hard, but Atherley was pick of the midfielders and it was her pass which allowed Brown to finally give the girls the breakthrough they thoroughly deserved.
