Frisby Fun Run gearing up for 10th birthday

The Frisby Fun Run will toast its 10th year anniversary on Saturday, March 28 and time is running out to join the celebrations.

Entries can now be made via the event website at www.frisbyfunrun.co.uk but must be made by Wednesday, March 25.

It is suitable for all abilities and ages, from two years, with a course of approximately three-quarters of-a-mile.

Races for pre-school to primary school ages complete one lap, while other ages tackle two laps, including stream crossings and the usual mud.

The first race starts at 2pm and all runners receive a medal at the finish line, with trophies for individual race winners.

Food and refreshments will be available to buy on the day.

All money raised from the event goes back to Frisby Parents and Teachers Association to benefit the village school and children.

Frisby Fun Run is the second of the mini fun run series which started with Thrussington last weekend, and finishes at Queniborough on April 4.
