Burke made it two goals in three Championship starts as he scored the second in Forest’s 3-0 win against Championship strugglers Bolton Wanderers at the City Ground on Saturday.

The Scotland under 19 international outjumped his marker to head in Jamie Ward’s cross in the 16th minute.

He posted his post-match reaction on Twitter: “Buzzing!! To win with a clean sheet and to get MOTM, couldn’t be happier right now! Thanks for all the support!”

The 18-year-old former Mowbray Rangers player scored on only his second Championship start at Cardiff City last month, and earlier this month provided the assist for Forest’s 1-0 FA Cup win over QPR.
