Villagers without water after water pipe bursts
Villagers at Scalford have been without water today after a mains pipe burst.
Severn Trent Water said it would have a team in place soon to repair the damage, which is on School Lane, and get the supply back on.Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed an emergency road closure on School Lane, near to its junction with Church Street, today (Wednesday afternoon).
Diversion routes will be in place for traffic and alternative routes will be signposted in the village.
