Thousands of pounds raised at this year's Hamilton Fun Run and Fun day
There was a record entry for the 11th annual Fun Run and Family day at Hamilton Tennis Club last month.
It was a very successful event which raised around £6,000 for LOROS, the Leicestershire hospice charity.

The event was organised this year in memory of Wendy Graves, who received tremendous support from the hospice.
There were 155 entrants in the fun run - the highest number yet - which was followed by a fantastic afternoon at the club.

The club was delighted to see the tennis and pickle ball courts in full swing.
And attendees enjoyed a barbecue, a tombola stall, raffle and toy stall, with youngsters enjoying getting their faces painted and glitter in their hair.
Organisers say there are many people they want to thank for their time and effort helping on the day as well as those who came along to run or just enjoy the afternoon and help raise money for the charity.
They are also grateful to all the local businesses and the individuals who so generously gave prizes for the raffle.

A special mention was also made of DVS Commercials for sponsoring the fun run medals, BE Event Hire for equipment loan, The Right Group for printing, 54a King Street and Sugar Shamrocks for their tasty baking and cup cakes.
Donations are still being accepted for the event in a bid to raise as much money as possible.
