Villagers vote for new councillor in Whissendine by-election
Villagers at Whissendine are going to the polls today (Thursday) to elect their new representative on Rutland County Council.
There are four candidates for the vacant seat following the resignation of Liberal Democrat, Councillor Kevin Thomas.
Johannah Randall will be hoping to hold the seat for her party, with opposition coming from Independents Ian Arnold and Sue Lammin and from Peter Jones (Conservative).
Votes can be case up to 10pm.
