Firefighters from multiple stations battle large Long Clawson barn fire
Crews from multiple fire stations are this afternoon (Monday) battling a large barn fire.
No-one has been reported injured in the incident, which is at a farm on Sandpit Lane in the village.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This is a large blaze with four pumps attending, including crews from Birstall, Melton Mowbray, Eastern and Oakham Fire Stations, plus our water carrier from Loughborough.
“Local residents should close doors and windows to avoid the effects of smoke inhalation.”
