World-famous locomotive to pass through Melton this weekend
Those who have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the Flying Scotsman will get the chance to see it pass through Melton on Saturday.
But the question of where and when to spot the iconic Flying Scotsman in and around the town is one on everybody’s lips.
Network Rail have refused to disclose information about its journey in a bid to keep spectators safe with a warning issued to stay off the tracks.
The Melton Times urge spectators to remain safe if venturing out to photograph the iconic engine.
