Families encouraged to get involved in Halloween Trail Quiz in Melton Mowbray
With the half-term holidays fast approaching there is a Halloween Trail Quiz organised for local families in Melton Mowbray.
It runs from October 17 to 31 and will challenge participants to tour the town to answer the questions at various numbered landmarks. The theme is famous witches and wizards from children's books.
Those who take part will also be asked to complete a spooky word search and to decorate a drawing of a pumpkin. You can then hand your completed sheet into Melton Carnegie Museum to collect a treat, a sticker and a chance to win cinema tickets at The Regal. Here's Melton BID manager James Colclough with some of the quiz sheets - look out for them in shops around town.
James commented: “We’ve organised this for children during the half-term holidays and hopefully lots of youngsters will be taking part."
Completed quiz shows need to be handed in at the museum by Saturday October 31.
