“Last year collectively we raised £2291.25 for Cancer Research UK, a tremendous effort, and I must thank everyone who was involved.

“This year we will be fundraising in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust for Sam Mayfield. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Teenage Cancer Trust unit situated at Leicester’s Royal Infirmary.

“Despite his illness he has been involved in fundraising for the unit and writes a daily blog on Facebook. His positivity and bravery are inspirational to those who know and follow him. So, for this reason the money we raise will be on his behalf.”

Registration and sponsor forms are available from the club or by calling Patrick on 07940 279165.
