At Frisby Village Hall The Frisby Players will put on their latest play, Bunkered, tonight, Friday and Saturday.

A comedy in two acts, after twenty years, The Royal Navy HQ suddenly receives alarm signals from the Recon Sea bunker, sent in error by naval personnel that have been completely forgotten and are still on active duty.

Panic erupts and the marines are called in. Hilarious consequences ensue.

During the first act, the stage is set but with the arrival of the Marines in Act II the plot comes together to make for a very funny play.

Singer Ash Williams will perform at the Noels Arms on Friday, as part of their Early Doors Sessions. He will play covers from the 60s to present all the way from the Kinks to Madonna.

Kev Black will return to the Carington Arms on Friday. He will entertain with a wide selection of electro-acoustic music.

The Genny B hosts Steve Faulkner on Friday. He will play sounds from The Beatles to Tenacious D via Wheatus and Vanilla Ice.

On Friday, Nigel Baker headlines at The Grapes. Nigel will entertain with hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s to present.

The hard hitting classic rock covers band, Black Dragon, will take to the stage at the Genny B on Saturday.

Rock steady beats and backing vocals will be supplied by the ever versatile Steve (lord) Ward, and the set will include hits from the likes of AC/DC and Deep Purple through to The Cult and Billy Idol.

Saturday sees The Likes step foot in the Noels Arms. They’re a four piece band who will play classic rock and indie covers.

On Sunday, Red Lips will perform at the Noels Arms. The acoustic duo will play some top harmonies that are sure to get people up and dancing.
