On Thursday evening The Saddle in Twyford hosts an open mic night with Simon Booth. Venture along for a good time and a sing along.

The Noels Arms are launching their Early Doors session this Friday, and as a special treat Howard Rose and his band will be playing along with George Simpson.

Baker’s Treat return for a night at the Genny B on Friday. They have tight vocal harmonies and a great combination of musical instruments including bass, drums, sax and harmonicas.

The BeatGroup era in the 1960s was one of the most influential times in British pop music and Zephyr 4 aim to recreate this period with a set list at the Genny B on Saturday.

They will perform songs from artists such as Think, The Searchers, The Beatles, The Kinks, Tremeloes, The Hollies, The Merseybeats and many more.

Saturday also sees Basket Case and Howlin Bones perform at the Noels Arms. Whatever alternative plans you had, cancel them and get down to the Noels for a night of ‘Punk, Sleaze and Rockability Cheese.’

Arthur Cunnington stops off at the Noels Arms on Sunday. Arthur began as a folk musician heavily inspired by the likes of Martin Simpson and Chris Wood.

Since then he has drawn on musical influences from an electric range of artists including Nick Cave and John Martyn.

‘The Landlady Sings.’ Jo from the Noels Arms has been borrowed temporarily by The Saddle. Together with friends she will take you on a light hearted musical journey.
