The Men’s Second team entertained Victoria Firsts, who could field just one pair, winning 8-2.

Justin Horobin and Simon Hawthorne shared a set apiece and second pairing of Jake Beagle and John Sturmey repeated their effort.

The Men’s Thirds entertained Stoney Stanton Fourths and, despite a closely fought match, they went down 7-3 to the visitors.

Peter Lovegrove and Stuart Mullard collected two wins and skipper Tony Golland and Tom Ursell collected a single set.

The club’s under 9 Orange team played two Division 2A matches at Loughborough.

Ethan Davidson and James Smith beat Loughborough Tennis Club 6-4 and were given a 10-0 victtory after Charnwood B fielded overage players.
