Street rides toSaddlebag Trophy
MELTON Olympic Cycling Club’s midweek event was the Mid-Summer Handicap Championship 25 at Granby for the Saddlebag Trophy.
Norman Portess won the senior/vets trophy in a time of 1hr 00min 05secs, but Mike Street claimed the Saddlebag Trophy in a time of 1.13.20.
Michelle Wright won the ladies’ trophy in a time of 1.04.43 to set a new ladies’ record. Adam Gascoigne (Pedal Power) clocked the fastest time of the evening and a new course record of 54min 26secs.
