Young Tilly makes her GB debut

Tilly Shaw made her Great Britain debut in the World Horseback Archery Grand Prix... and she is now waiting to see how she got on.

While the 14-year-old, from Goadby Marwood, feels she perfomed well in her first ever competition, less than a year after taking the sport up, the results will not be available until October.

This is because many other countries have still to compete, due to COVID restrictions.

However, Tilly caught the eye in the British camp.

“She had some really good scores, beating many of the GB senior team,” said dad Troy.

Tilly attends the John Ferneley College.
