Last Wednesday, Micky West continued with his good form with another match win.

Fishing peg 21 on Marina he found both ide and carp feeding throughout the match and would have had more than 48lbs had the gusting wind been less disruptive.

On the opposite bank Roy Toulson was not far behind with 39lbs from peg 9 where he caught mainly ide which tended to move in and out of his peg giving him long periods without a fish.

On Serpent it was a close match on the lake with Dirk Williams coming out top with 45lbs from peg 2 where he caught a lot of small F1’s on maggot close in.

On Lagoon fish were hard to find although Gary Smith on golden peg 4 thought he was in for a bumper pay out but he lost time losing some rigs which probably cost him the match, but he finished first on the lake with 44lbs.

Second on the lake was Mick Hempstock on peg 22 who caught late on finishing with 28lbs.

Wayne Smith qualified for the Map Elite final on Sunday.

On Saturday he also booked his place in the Middy MX Luggage Winter/Spring final with a second first-place finish at Lake View Fisheries.
