Belvoit Half-Marathon and 7km: Last call for advance entries

Postal and online entries will be closed on Sunday, March 22, but runners can register at Hose Village Hall on race-day from 8am if the race limit of 700 is not exceeded.
There will also be a 7km road race which starts after, and finishes before, the half-marathon.

It regularly attracts entries from all over the UK, and particularly the Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham, Northampton, Coventry and Derby areas, as well as a large proportion of female runners and veterans.
The race, which this year takes place on Sunday, April 5, is used by many as a good warm-up for the London Marathon.
Both races will be chip-timed, and all finishers will receive a medal, as well as other goodies, while there are prizes for many categories, including teams.

Refreshments and snacks for visitors and runners will be available from 8.30am at the village hall, provided by Hose School Parents and Friends Association.
The event is organised by Hose Village Hall, under UK Athletics rules, and aims to raise funds to improve the social and sporting facilities in Hose village.
