Atherton edges ahead to claim the latest Lake View Vets success

He claimed 59lbs of mainly F1’s from peg 2 on Canal.

Tom Hamilton (58lbs) was second while with Andy Parker (47lbs 9ozs) pipping Chris Shore by five ounces for third.

On Serpent, Martin Quilter (52lbs) was the lake winner, ahead of Brian Nicholls (37lbs).

Last Wednesday’s session was won by Quilter on Marina peg 12, with 61lbs.

Mark Bowles (47lbs) was second on the lake with Rob Shuter (47lbs) third.

On Reef, Brian Holmes (51lbs) took the lake win, John Cooke and Steve Fletcher (both 25lbs) behind him.
