Opening match victory for Belvoir Vale TC

Belvoir Vale Tennis Club’s Men’s team have made a promising start to the season.

They secured a very good 6 to 3 sets victory in their first match of the summer season, when competing against Desford.

Steve Wallace and Jamie Wallace recorded three victories of 8-2, 8-0, and 8-1.

Teammates Nigel Daniels and Mark Blackburn also won their three contests with victories of 8-1, 8-3 and also 8-3.

Steve Wainwright and Jeff White suffered 1-8, 5-8 and 2-8 defeats.

But the team did enough for a 6-3 result, winning by 56 games to 34.
