Hamilton Tennis Club ladies third team get season off to a flyer
Hamilton ladies third team of Chris Stevens with Jo Rowe and Nicky Herbert with Jan Jackson got their winter season off to a great start beating Roundhill thirds 8-0.
The team secured their second victory when they travelled to Leicester and defeated Victoria thirds 6-2. Jo Rowe and Jo Draper-Moore took a maximum four sets while Nicky Herbert and Jan Jackson won two.
The ladies second team travelled to Enderby where they beat the club’s first team 5-3. Margaret Heggs and Margaret Shufflebotham took a maximum four sets while Dee Adams and Sue Harrison won one set to tip the scales in Hamilton’s favour.
