HAMILTON Tennis Club ladies’ first team won 5-4 against Leicestershire B.

Di Burdett and Charlie Griffin led the team with a three-set maximum, while Amelia Coltman and Helen Thorpe’s two sets clinched the win.

* The ladies’ second team defeated Leicester Forest East Seconds 5-3 with one match unfinished.

Rosie Gildove and Margaret Roskell completed a three-set maximum, and Sue Corfield and Jenny Golland’s two sets won the match.

Cindy Coulter and Pat Woolston won two sets and Jo Heggs and Laura Hayward the other.

Margaret Wright and Jude Plumb, and Alison Stone and Chris Stevens won three-set maximums, while Eileen Merrison and Di Green won two.

Oliver, Lewis and Dan won their singles and Oliver and Lewis clinched their doubles.

* The under 16s team of Josh Wilson, George Hall, Joe Perriam and Alex Badgery also won 4-2 against Kibworth C.

Joe and Alex won their singles, while Josh and George, and Joe and Alex both won their doubles.
